Our mission at techMall is to offer you
low prices and
reasonable shipping rates. When we decided to open our business, we noticed there was a void in the market to offer quality, unique products (specifically gadgets and hard to find electrical DIY products) at discounted prices. Check our prices online...we do. Our prices are either the lowest or among the lowest for the products we offer (make sure you factor in your shipping costs when looking for the low price). In some cases, our suppliers require that we adhere to MAP pricing, therefore we can not sell a particular product below that price. Some companies do sell below MAP--those companies will not be offering those products much longer because the supplier will no longer sell to them.
You'll also notice our site has no frills. No massive flash ad banners. No videos. No talking animated assistants. Those things cost money, and rather than paying an employee or an outside company to provide us with those things, we figured we'd pass that money along to you in savings. Our company is lean and mean - we're either launching new products, processing orders, shipping orders or answering questions via email. No wasted effort, no people twiddling their fingers looking for something to do.
Speaking of answering questions via email, yes, that's how we do it. One person can answer multiple questions within a minute or two. We answer the questions in the order that they were placed, and will definitely get back to you within 1 business day.
Once again we are lean and mean. We don't have a call center. We have dedicated knowledgeable people handling multiple tasks. If you've landed on our site, our guess is that you've done your research on a particular product and you are ready to buy. If you are a solicitor, please do not contact us.We ship from Southern California. Our orders process within 1-2 business days. We ship via FEDEX SmartPost (basically if USPS and FEDEX had a child it would be SmartPost). Our rates are good and we've passed them along to you. When your item ships, tracking information will be added to the order information in your account. "Ground" travel time is generally 5-12 days depending on where you are. If you are in California, Texas, Colorado, etc., your order is going to be there in a jiffy. If you are in Vermont, congrats you have great syrup and teddy bears...unfortunately, your package may take up to 12 days to reach you. Seriously, we try to get the order to you as quickly as we can, and as cheaply as we can. The closer you are to California, the sooner your package will arrive.
